**Role**: Transform research data into detailed technical reports for developer audiences.

## ⚠️ Agent Response Style - CRITICAL RULES

**ABSOLUTE PROHIBITIONS (enforced by audits):**
- ❌ NEVER write in marketing/promotional language
- ❌ NEVER add YAML front matter
- ❌ NEVER create separate files per repo (use one technical.md)
- ❌ NEVER include velocity metrics (PR counts, percentages, "X% of activity")
- ❌ NEVER include forward-looking references to future months
- ❌ NEVER include Publications section (blog posts belong in executive summaries only)
- ❌ NEVER quantify effort levels (avoid "intensive development", "heavy focus", "significant effort")
- ❌ NEVER place Summary section at end of document (must be at top)

**Use accurate technical terminology** - don't dumb down for developer audience.

## Cross-Repository Insights Section

**Purpose**: Document how multiple repositories work together as coordinated systems, integration stacks, or interdependent infrastructure. This section explains RELATIONSHIPS between repositories, not just thematic similarities.

**Section Name**: "Cross-Repository Insights" (use this exact name consistently across all reports)

**Location**: Place AFTER Table of Contents and BEFORE repository sections. This ordering is mandatory:
1. Header (with navigation, summary, key achievements, technical significance)
2. Table of Contents
3. Cross-Repository Insights
4. Individual Repository Sections

**What to Include** (must involve 2+ repositories with technical relationships):
- ✅ Integration stacks (e.g., antelope-snap + wallet-plugin-metamask working together)
- ✅ Infrastructure ecosystems (e.g., lighthouse + lighthouse-js + related tools)
- ✅ Coordinated releases across multiple repos
- ✅ Dependency relationships (e.g., "unicove integrates with web-authenticator")
- ✅ Architectural decisions spanning multiple codebases
- ✅ Cross-repository refactoring efforts (e.g., "3 WharfKit repos migrated to new API")
- ✅ Core library changes with downstream impact (e.g., "wharfkit/antelope improvement enabled work in wallet-plugin-metamask")
- ✅ Timeline synthesis showing coordinated development across repos

**What to Exclude**:
- ❌ Single-repository achievements (even if impressive - those go in repo sections)
- ❌ Thematic groupings without technical relationships (e.g., "developer experience improvements" across unrelated repos)
- ❌ Lists of independent work that happens to share a theme
- ❌ Strategic categorizations without explaining technical integration
- ❌ Release management of single repositories

**CRITICAL - Temporal References**:
- ✅ **ONLY backward-looking connections** to previous months
- ✅ Reference work from this month and earlier months
- ✅ "This builds on June work..." (if current month is July+)
- ✅ "Following the May foundation..." (if current month is June+)
- ❌ **NEVER forward-looking connections** to future months
- ❌ NO "This would enable..." or "Foundation for August work"
- ❌ NO "This would see intensive development in [future month]"
- ❌ NO references to months after the report period

**Why This Matters**: Reports are written from the perspective of that month. The writer cannot know what will happen in future months.

**Example Good Pattern**:

**Read from**: `reports/YYYY-MM/research.md` (created by Researcher agent)

This file contains comprehensive research data including:
- Repository activity counts and PR details
- PR titles, numbers, bodies, and discussion summaries
- Comment counts and technical decision highlights
- New repository details with README context
- Blog post titles, URLs, and content summaries
- Commit messages and direct-push activity
- **Source references** for all data points

**How to use research.md**: Read completely, extract PR numbers/links, use discussion summaries, cite sources, focus on work not individuals, cross-reference github-projects.md, review previous 2-3 months for ongoing context.

## Output: Generate Report

**Process:**

1. **Read research data** from `reports/YYYY-MM/research.md`
2. **Verify folder exists**: Check that `reports/YYYY-MM/` was created
3. **Add navigation**:
   - Link to previous month's technical.md (if exists)
   - Link to next month's technical.md (if exists)
   - Link to same month's README.md and research.md
   - Format: `**Navigation**: [← Previous Month](../YYYY-MM/technical.md) | [Next Month →](../YYYY-MM/technical.md)`
   - Format: `*Also available: [Executive Summary](README.md) | [Research Data](research.md)*`
4. **Create header summary**:
   - Write 2-3 sentence overview paragraph
   - List key achievements (4-6 bullet points)
   - Add technical significance statement (1-2 sentences)
5. **Create Cross-Repository Insights section**:
   - Identify repositories working together as systems/stacks
   - Document technical relationships and dependencies
   - Show coordinated development patterns
6. **Organize repositories** (most active first):
   - Group PRs by theme (major vs minor)
   - Extract technical details from PR body summaries
   - Include discussion summaries with technical context
   - Note breaking changes or performance metrics
   - **Cite sources**: Include GitHub links from research.md
7. **Create New Repositories section** (if applicable):
   - Document newly created repositories with README context
8. **Include source references**: When making technical claims, reference the GitHub URLs from research.md
9. **Save**: Write to `reports/YYYY-MM/technical.md`
10. **Update adjacent month's navigation** (if previous month exists):
    - Update previous month's technical.md to add forward link to this new report

**Using research.md**: Copy all PR numbers, GitHub URLs, discussion summaries, metrics, and source references directly. Focus on work/decisions not individuals.

## CRITICAL: Delta Reporting Pattern

**Principle**: Document CHANGES and NEW WORK, not full state. Cross-reference previous reports for background.

**Core Pattern** (follow `reports/2025-11/technical.md:44-100`):

### Key Rules

**DO**: Link to previous context, show progression, read previous 2-3 months + glossary before writing

**DO NOT**: Repeat descriptions/architectures/events/concepts, include ASCII diagrams (use bullet points)
